SHELTOWEE TRAIL RIDE​

From the North: 24.3 miles, about 57 minutes from I-65

1. From I-65 take Exit 71, Bonnieville.  2. Turn right (west) on KY-728 and go to the end.  3. Turn right at KY-728/US-31-W and go 1/2 mile.  4. Turn left at KY-728/Priceville Rd.  5. You will come to a stop sign at Cub Run, continue straight.  6. When KY-728 turns right, stay STRAIGHT onto KY 1827.  7. Turn left at Ollie Rd, go 2.5 miles to MCHC on the right.

 

From the West: 28.4 miles, about 50 minutes from Western KY Pkwy

1. Exit WK Pkwy at Exit 107, Leitchfield  2. Turn onto KY-259 heading South  3. Continue 17.2 miles on KY-259.  4. Turn left at KY-728/Nolin Dam Rd and go 8.7 miles.  5. Turn right at Ollie Rd, go 2.5 miles to MCHC on the right.

From the South: Do NOT use your GPS! It will have you turn right in Brownsville, KY taking you to the Houchens Ferry which is closed!

FROM  I-65

1. From I-65 take Exit 28 going West.  2. Take Hwy 31 W north and to ~ 10 miles.  3. Turn left onto Hwy 101 towards Brownsville. Go ~16 miles (road changes from 101 to 259, just stay straight).  4. Turn right onto Hwy 728 and go ~8.5 miles.  5. Turn right onto Ollie Rd, go 2.5 miles to MCHC on the right.

From the Cumberland Parkway

1. At the end of the Parkway take I-65 North and go 5 miles.  2. Take Exit 48 and turn left onto Hwy 255.  3. Turn left onto Hwy 70 and stay left on Hwy 70 to Brownsville ~ 12 miles.  4. Turn right onto Hwy 101/259 and go ~ 8 miles.  5. Trun right onto Hwy 728 and to ~ 8.5 miles.  6. Trun right onto Ollie Rd, go 2.5 miles to MCHC on the right.
