Looking for a fun adventure with your horse or mule?  Come join us for the 46th annual Sheltowee Trail Ride, September 28 - October 4, 2025!



The Sheltowee Trail Ride is a week-long, catered ride with some of the friendliest folks you'll ever meet. Riders return year after year from all across the country--Texas, New York, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania and even Canada, to name a few. What keeps people coming back to this ride? Simply put, it's the friendly and welcoming people...but the variety of campground locations and low cost are a plus too. The cost for the entire week is only $425 for ages 16 and over, $150 for youth ages 10 - 15, no charge for peewee's ages 9 and under. Entry fees include a hot catered breakfast and supper each day (bring your own lunch; supper only on first day & breakfast only on last day), your campsite, stall/pen/high line, 5 days of guided rides, and nightly entertainment. We're able to keep the cost low because the Sheltowee Trail Ride is a non-profit, (501(c)(3), organization with a focus on promoting trail riding, not on making a profit. To ensure a safe and enjoyable week for all participants and their horses, our trail boss, several scouts, a physician, a veterinarian, a farrier, a camp manager and the ride manager will be with us all week.

Please note that due to insurance restrictions helmets are required when riding for anyone under 18, and children under 10 are not permitted to ride with the Sheltowee group ride.

For safety reasons, there is a limit on the number of riders accepted.
